AAPS came into being in july 2000 by merging erstwhile nursery schools in the Patiala military station. The school is located in a spacious, enviornmental friendly locale and is easily accessible.

With active participation of the Patrons-in-Chief and the Patrons,the school has achieved unprecedented improvement in all spheres. All classrooms have been renovated & upgraded in keeping with modern teaching norms. A seperate Acitivity Room,Toy Room and Music Room give ample opportunities for students to develop into all rounded personalities. To begin with the school had a strength of only 250 children which has grown to over 950children now.

Senior officers and Family Welfare Organisation functionaries pay regular visits to the school and the teaching faculty draws inspiration from them. Chairperson, BE ,FWO keenly interacts with the school management to guide and give stimulus to important school activities.

We at AAPS understand that every child is different, and develops at his or her ownpace, just as flower bloom in glorious bursts of colours in their unique ways at respective chosen times. Therefore , what works for one child may not necessarily be the best for another.The school thus strives to provide an enabling enviornment under qualified passionate and caring teachers, who allow children to enjoy their childhood while learning.

We belive in learnig by doing . A child needs to touch, see events or the process unfolding before him/her to enjoy the learning process. In order to stimulate children's imagination we provide an ideal enviornment for the to grow and develop while playing, listening,doing creating,imagining and reading. Activities at the campus are designed to channelise the childe's exuberant energies and kindle their thought process.
